A scene I will never forget. 

Pelican

I have today completed the first draft of this amazing adventure story, which also happens to be one of the greatest escape stories ever told. After a number of years delay (to reduce the embarrassment certain governments might experience) this story can now be written. I just hope I can do justice to the experiences of Rowe, Miller, Hubbard, and, of course, the man without whose determination none of those three would now be alive, and who is himself now dead: Al Eckman.

I've nearly finished the first draft of Pelican, a great adventure story and one of the greatest escape stories, which I have known about for some time. I  hope to publish the story before Christmas. And, I hope my writing does it justice.
