A detective story set on the French Riviera - one of my most favourite parts of the world - and a part of the world I have visited many times - featuring the freewheeling and free loving French detective Pierre Labbac, who investigates a murder on board the luxuxry yacht Pharaoh and peels back the veneer on the high life of the Cote d'Azur to reveal the reality of what goes on underneath.http://tinyurl.com/aer54te

Title Change

I felt my original title for this work (Pelican) did not convey the true drama of the story, so I have changed it to the above. Pelican still plays a crucial part in the plot.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Escape-or-Die-ebook/dp/B0067M89DA/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1343840243&sr=1-1

Boats

I have always preferred the designs of forty or fifty years ago to those of today. Here's one from the board of the great naval architects Sparkman and Stephens. Salmagal III. I think she's my current favourite.http://sparkmanstephens.blogspot.co.uk/2011/06/design-1476-salmagal-iii.html

I've now published my latest novel on Amazon.

Carla and the Black Door Club is set in London (and is not suitable for persons under eighteen years of age).http://www.amazon.co.uk/Carla-Black-Door-Club-ebook/dp/B0088PLUPS/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1338886442&sr=1-1-spell  In this novel, a very attractive, but strait laced, city professional finds a visit to a mysterious London club a life-changing experience.

This is a companion piece to my novel: Jenny's first visit to Doctor Widmark. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jennys-First-Doctor-Widmark-ebook/dp/B005TWKL5S/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1338887849&sr=1-1  The two stories are, however, quite different.

London Blackfriars.

I had lunch in The Blackfriar pub in London on Saturday the 30th March, and was served by a very attractive black-haired young lady. I wonder who she was.
