I have today completed the first draft of this amazing adventure story, which also happens to be one of the greatest escape stories ever told. After a number of years delay (to reduce the embarrassment certain governments might experience) this story can now be written. I just hope I can do justice to the experiences of Rowe, Miller, Hubbard, and, of course, the man without whose determination none of those three would now be alive, and who is himself now dead: Al Eckman.
